The Guest House
The Guest House was completely renovated in 2005 and features an engaging mix of modern and historic architectural details such as exposed brick walls, crown moldings and detailed woodwork, hardwood floors; a formal boxwood hedge garden with extensive collections of roses, Japanese maples and other seasonal surprises, along with a relaxing deck, patio, and indoor and outdoor fireplaces to enjoy with a glass of wine or hot chocolate. The Guest House is just a short walk from all German Village attractions, only a one minute drive south of Downtown Columbus and about 15 minutes from Port Columbus airport (CMH). The rooms have shared access to the kitchen, a living/dining room with a small DVD library and CD player, and the garden. Breakfast is served ‘buffet style’ between 7:15 and 11:15 a.m. for you to enjoy at your leisure.

Whittier Suites
The Whittier Suites are each 800 sq.ft. private luxury apartments in a duplex restored in 2006, featuring designer furniture, finishes and fixtures. The Whittier Suites are just one block from Schiller Park, a short walk to all German Village attractions (only a 5-10 minute walk from the Guest House), and only one minute drive south of Downtown Columbus. Your breakfast is delivered prior to your arrival to be enjoyed in privacy and at your convenience the following morning.

German Village
Just south of downtown is German Village, Columbus’ premiere neighborhood -- 233 acres of preserved and protected history -- and the nation’s largest privately funded place listed on the National Historic Register by the National Park Service. Once a working class neighborhood built by German brewery workers, carpenters, brick and stone masons, the Queen Anne, Italianate and Dutch Double homes, stores and restaurants have been lovingly and stunningly restored.
The German Village Guest House and Whittier Suites are only a few short blocks away from the best that Columbus has to offer. Within a short stroll are unique and popular local restaurants, shops, galleries and parks.
